A Chartered Accountant by profession, Carmel has over 20 years’ experience in the housing sector.
Joining SHG in 2006, Carmel set the foundations for the Group’s growth, understanding the complexity of managing the Group in a diverse range of markets, from core service delivery, to commercial markets, and the regulatory environment. Carmel is fiercely passionate about the housing sector, with the Mission to deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers.

Carmel also sits on various Boards in Stockport and the housing sector, ensuring housing is firmly placed in local and national decision making, to include our health, crime and children’s services partners.
